This is the first split repaired. I have used a aluminium solder, I will be testing this methode on a test rig shortly before doing rest of car

I removed radiator cowl first to remove paint, found petrol tank was leaking from soldered joint, so removed tank for repair. There is a oil gauge fitted wich is showing very high reading I have cleaned out the oil jets, have got to run engine again to see if presure as reduced.
